Gary & Others

Gary is a unique fly in my collection and will never be replicated. That is not because I don't want to but because I've actually forgotten how I made him! It is fishable but is now framed in my studio as a reminder to write my process down!

Tied with a Dr Pepper bottle bottom for the wing case, a perfect example of recycling in action!

One of my first art flies tied. Made mostly from thread and swiss straw and tied on an inverted salmon fly hook.

The nemesis of the tarantula. I tied this fly as a counterpoint to my spider so I could make a display featuring both.
